  • Wasted Blue Space

    We are officially waiting for our TA (travel approval).  We've been waiting a week now so we have another 1-4 weeks left.  Once we have TA, our agency will arrange a consulate appointment for us.  Typically we should travel 2 weeks prior to our consulate appointment as it's the last step before we can head home.  It's looking very much like we will be able to travel before Christmas. 

    The VAN is here.  Yes, after much dragging of the heels, I conceded to trading in the RAV4 for a minivan. Sigh...  not really my thing.  But, it's hard to find something better once you add a third kid.  And so, we made a couple trips to CarMax.  We decided on a Honda Oddessey and then pretty much just kept checking their website until we found the year/mileage we thought was a good match.  We ended up finding "her" in Connecticut and we hear it arrived today.  It's a kind of red/maroon so I guess I can pretend I'm driving the Oscar Myer Weiner Mobile (although that's a much cooler gig).

    So, no pics.  I was mostly just testing out the new theme.  TTFN.
